Yehiel De-Nur przeżył Auschwitz, a po wojnie zaczął publikować pod pseudonimem Ka-Tzetnik (od niemieckiego Konzentrationslager – obóz koncentracyjny). Miliony czytelników na świecie ukształtowały obraz nazistowskiej machiny zagłady na podstawie jego książek. Ka-Tzetnik ukrywał swoją tożsamość aż do procesu Eichmanna w 1961 roku, kiedy wezwano go na świadka. Utrwalona na taśmie filmowej chwila, kiedy przenosząc się pamięcią do Auschwitz, “na inną planetę”, zemdlał podczas zeznań, należy do ikonicznych scen z procesu zbrodniarza. De-Nur przez dziesięciolecia zmagał się z ciężką depresją, uniemożliwiającą normalne życie. W końcu zdecydował się na eksperymentalną psychoterapię z użyciem LSD. Film Assafa Lapida jest portretem udręczonego pisarza i dokumentuje przebieg odbywających się przez ponad rok w Holandii sesji, których efektem była niezwykła ostatnia książka De-Nura, “I Am the SS Man” (Jestem esesmanem).

Ka-Tzetnik, the mysterious writer, was embraced by millions of readers around the world after he named Auschwitz, "The Other Planet". But when an experimental LSD treatment brought new understandings with it, the writer's revised message was overlooked.
Yehiel De-Nur survived Auschwitz and published under the pseudonym Ka-Tzetnik (from the German Konzentrationslager - concentration camp). Millions of readers around the world have formed a picture of the Nazi extermination machine based on his books. De-Nur lived a life shrouded in secrecy. The rumors claimed that he writes all night long, in complete solitude, wearing his prisoner uniform. Ka-Tzetnik kept his identity hidden until the Eichmann trial in 1961, when he famously collapsed on the witness stand, transported by memories to Auschwitz, his “another planet.” For decades De-Nur struggled with severe depression making normal life near impossible. He eventually decided to undergo experimental psychotherapy based on LSD. Assaf Lapid's film is a portrait of the tormented writer. It documents more than a year of psychedelic sessions held in the Netherlands, which resulted in De-Nur's remarkable last book, “I Am the SS Man.”
