Dokument jest portretem Alaa al-Daliego, mistrza kolarskiego, który zostaje postrzelony przez izraelskiego snajpera. Trzy miesiące później zostaje pierwszym kolarzem paraolimpijskim w Gazie. „Trzymanie flagi palestyńskiej podczas międzynarodowych zawodów jest formą pokojowego oporu” – powtarza Alaa al-Dali i wciąż jeździ na rowerze, marząc o Igrzyskach Paraolimpijskich.

The documentary is a portrait of Alaa al-Dali, a cycling champion who qualified for the Asian Games in 2018. Scared of not obtaining the visa, on the 30th of March 2018 he joins the Great March of Return with his bike, wearing his cycling gear as a way to reclaim his rights as an athlete. During the march, Alaa al-Dali gets shot by an Israeli sniper and has his right leg amputated, just as the Tour of Italy is taking off in Israel. Three months later he becomes Gaza’s first paralympic cyclist, in a land where, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics, about 130,000 people (nearly 7% of the population) is disabled. “Raising the Palestinian flag in international competitions is a form of nonviolent resistance”, as so he keeps cycling and dreaming towards the Paralympic Games.

W najciemniejszych czasach, będąc w najgorszej formie życia, dwójka zdesperowanych przyjaciół postanowiła przejechać 1 500 km wzdłuż całej linii frontu w Ukrainie, przez wyzwolone wsie i miasta, z zamiarem niesienia pomocy.
Ten film opowiada niezwykłe historie ludzi, których spotykają na swojej drodze, a także ukazuje straszliwe konsekwencje wojny — doświadczenie, które bez wątpienia na zawsze pozostawi w nich swój ślad.
Ponadto okaże się, że tereny wyzwolone są wciąż zaminowane, a na naszych śmiałków na tym pograniczu wojny, zapomnienia i tęsknoty za zwycięstwem czeka wiele niespodzianek.

In the darkest times, while being in the worst shapes of their life, two desperate friends decided to cycle 1,500 km along the entire front line in Ukraine, through liberated villages and towns, with a charitable purpose.
This movie tells the impressive stories of the people they meet on their way and, finally, the terrible consequences of the war, which turned into an experience that will undoubtedly be etched in their memory for a lifetime.
On top of that de-occupied, but still mined territories, prepared many surprises for the two daredevils on the line of war, obscurity and longing for victory.
